Archive  is their original, iconic fragrance line which is also available in their discovery kit if anyone interested to try out their samples.

I was trying their Discovery Kit of other line that comes in six different varieties with three different intensity. Here are how they smell and notes from their product info booklet:

Book this is by far my top 3 favorite. It’s a blend of sparkling  of sparkling Bergamot, crisp Eucalyptus and warm Sandalwood results in an unexpectedly fresh scent which is warm and inviting. As moments pass the scent comes to life, start noticing Amyris, cedarwood, and sandalwood. For the final chapter, amber, vetiver and musk bring about a dramatic close. Ketrin Leka the maker of this perfume cherishes her childhood memories in library experiencing real book. Which also resonated with my childhood memory. Love how old book smell and remember being a book worm and get lost in pile of books during my school years. This crisp, woody fragrance tips its hat to the Hemingway and Fitzgerald of the world, conjuring the warmth of a quiet moment curled up with a good book.

Gold – Warm and decadent, this scent opens with notes of aromatic Juniper Berries and creamy Musk. Then, as the minutes pass and the scent comes to life, you’ll begin to notice sweet Vanilla and Amber. For the final dry down, warm Sandalwood and Benzoin linger on the skin. The maker Donna Ramanauskas describes associated with gods, power, beauty and wealth. It’s strong, sleek and polished. Its purity exudes luxury and demands a rich sensuality when capturing its essence in liquid form.

Milk – Warm and calming, this scent opens with a unique Cold Milk Accord. Then, as the minutes pass and the scent comes to life, you’ll begin to notice Skin Musk and Warm Marshmallow. After that comes the additional warm notes of Mahogany Wood and Tonka Bean. The maker Christelle Laprade inspired by the memory of a family vacation in the Fall, where she spent hours around hot wood-fires, telling stories and making s’mores. This captures that intimate nostalgia of this moment in Milk

Velvet – Mysterious and elegant, this fragrance evokes the pure indulgence of a soft texture meeting bare skin. Its woody ambery blend is infused with roasted Almond, Rose petals and black Amber. The make Jerome Epinette was inspired by the image of vibrant pink Turkish Rose Petals floating gently over a mysterious, dark background of richly warm vanilla and black amber with a delicious touch of roasted almond drifting in the air

Moss – is Crisp and earthy, this scent opens with notes of Grapefruit and Bergamot. Then, as the minutes pass and the scent comes to life, you’ll begin to notice Petitgrain and Orange Blossom. Finally, Cedarwood and Oakmoss bring about a long-lasting close. If you are into fresh, green and earthy smell, its a blend of Oakmoss, Cedarwood and Petitgrain is reminiscent of a walk in the woods at dawn—wet, cool, clean and reviving. That’s how the maker Donna Ramanauskas expressed her love of nature, outdoor and being grounded and conscious of earth’s natural resource with this perfume.

Last but not least Paper – Subtle and unique smell, this scent opens with molecular Iso E Super. Then, as the minutes pass and the scent comes to life, you’ll begin to notice crisp cedarwood. After that comes the soft Sandalwood trail. Same maker as Moss, Donna Ramanauskas describes this will take you to a poetic journey of an earthy and robust rendition, is an unmistakable and reminiscent of mossy woods after rain.

To me they all smell amazing and as you read through the thought process of the makers for coming up with these fragrance you can resonates these with your own memory.

I think this Discovery sets or Sample Kits are great way to explore if something strikes your imagination but not sure if you will like it or not. These discovery box has collections of  2ml trial-sizes of every scent. Starting at $12.

Also it adds the dimension of Scent Space for each of these fragrance based on you consider yourself Personal, Bold or Expressive.
