Gucci Beauty And Epitome of Luxury Lipsticks

When it comes to high end luxury beauty Gucci is one of them that comes instantly. The high end luxury brand Gucci was founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, later his son Aldo Gucci make Gucci a worldwide-known brand after he joined in 1933. The logo double G, represent the initials of Guccio Gucci, a memorabilia and artistic way to make the founder’s significance, initiated by his son Aldo. Gucci at the early stage of it’s existence primarily produced leather goods, as well as premium knitwear, silk goods, shoes and handbags. The brand is also known for its luxury product lines includes handbags, ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories, fragrances, and home decoration. Gucci launched it’s beauty line, containing nearly 200 lip, face and eye products, in November 2014 under Procter & Gamble’s prestige sector. Since 2016, the Gucci beauty portfolio is managed by Coty Inc. Alessandro Michele is the current creative designer for Gucci, during this time Gucci experienced immense growth in the industry. Under the umbrella of Gucci beauty they offer makeup products for lips, eyes, face, nails and newly extended 14-piece fragrance line.

“From lip balms to matte lipsticks, the Gucci lipstick selection is created to experiment through self-expression” as quoted on Gucci website. I find their lipstick not only a treat for your lips the beautiful packaging makes them standout on your vanity. Depending on the intensity, coverage and finish Gucci Beauty offers lipsticks in six categories.

 

BAUME À LÈVRES – is lip balm and gives the lightest coverage. This  lip balm gives a translucent finish, is lightweight non-sticky formula glides on smoothly and delivers nourishing hydration.

ROUGE À LÈVRES VOILE– most sheet type of lipstick that gives a luminous finish. Think of this is darker than lip balm but lighter on the lipstick side. I really like the packaging of this category with flower printed cap on golden base.

ROUGE DE BEAUTÉ BRILLANT – higher coverage with glowy finish. This line has creamy texture, and new formula is long-lasting.

ROUGE À LÈVRES SATIN – highly concentrated lipstick that gives a satin finish. Colors in this category are intense and considered long lasting.

ROUGE À LÈVRES MAT – ultra pigmented and gives a matte finish. Doesn’t feel dry at all, the formula is creamy and glides on smoothly giving a velvety matte finish. This category has the most coverage and the lipstick that I am going to share today is from this category

ROUGE À LÈVRES LIQUIDE MAT – This is non creamy lipstick category that is transfer proof with medium coverage, gives soft matte finish. They are highly pigmented lip color, that dries down to a matte finish once applied. This formula contains Black Rose oil, Vitamin E, Rice Powder, Hyaluronic acid
