Shimm Throughout my life I wasn’t paying much attention to my skin. Overall I thought I had decent skin except around my graduation time I had hormonal breakouts and that was the worst time ever my skin has experienced. Now looking back can’t believe how horrible my routine was. Cleaning makeup with makeup removing clothes, washing face with bath soap, not wearing sun screen and this list goes on and on. Kept on committing skincare sins one after another.
Fast forward several years things didn’t change much except I started using moisturizer, serum, proper face cleanser here and there. My professional work life was so demanding that to be honest didn’t find much time for selfcare.
Then came COVID and got some time where I took a step back and thought about many things. Selfcare, mental peace and being happy appeared something I needed to work on. Through my research and findings I thought I wished I knew it before which lead me to re-open an IG account where I wanted to share and exchange views on skincare, makeup, fragrance, travel which I have been obsessed with. This obsession now turned into passion and a quest to find the best !!
What is best and how do I define best? Isn’t this a million dollar question?
So many brands, labels, ingredients out there and it is so easy to get lost and puzzled. So how do I define best. Actually there is no right or wrong answer. What might be best for me might not be best for you and vice versa. As much I enjoy luxury products not necessarily they are the best. There are many affordable products out there that can easily compete head to head with luxury products in terms of performance. To me any product and service that makes you feel happy, your senses get excited using it, smelling it, touching it, something not only makes you feel special but you see result and ultimately boost your confidence. If you check all these criteria to me that is the best product one can have.
