Shimm Do you like makeup? If you are someone like me the answer would be yes, but get puzzled with all the style and look that exist. You might have basic idea and concept of how you want to do your makeup day to day or during special occasion but in general what is your style? If you know right away, good for you, but not being a Pro makeup artist I am nervous when I have to pull out different look and style.
When it comes to makeup style, the options are limitless : Modern simple look, Minimal look, No-Makeup Makeup look, Dramatic look, Natural, Smokey, Intense look, Heavy contoured look, the list goes on and on. Don’t know about you but sometimes it’s intimidating for me.
I believe makeup is something that help us to accentuate our facial feature and beauty, rather than hiding it. Makeup surely help us to hide our imperfections for time being but under the makeup they are there. If hiding them for a while makes someone feel good, boost their confidence, go ahead and do it, also make sure to cherish the imperfection. After all we are all human being with flesh and blood have large pores, marks, hyperpigmentation, scars, uneven feature and skin tones.
With a busy everyday life, at work or when running errands I like No-Makeup, Makeup look. There are some basic steps that I follow while doing makeup. I always look for makeups that are effective and doesn’t require too much time and effort to use it. Non-irritating and free of harmful additives. I also believe by layering too many products it loose the identity and true beauty of the products itself.
